Range of use

QTest is a new developed universal system for testing and documentation of the „push-pull“-force of different types of steering rods and other tubular shafts. The system is in use successfully in the automotive sector and is fullfilling the following requirements:

• automatic evaluation of the measuring data
• automatic recognition of the test receptacles
• automatic selection of the test parameters
• good / bad – indicator with TFT-display in a close range of the operator
• documentation and data backup by PC
• test of 2 steering rods simultaneously by tandem model
• automatic selection of the test parameters after changing the receptacles
• automatic calibration after changing the receptacles
• setup time app. 4 minutes

The system

The robustly test bench is delivered as a complete system and is equipped with all required components like drives, sensors for the measuring of distance and force and different types of receptacles and gripping jaws. The control of the test bench, the acquisition of the measuring data and the evaluation and visualisation of the measuring results is carried out by an industrial computer-system.
