CLD Description

The CLD-analyser measures the quantity of nitrogen oxide (NO) directly in the passing gas phase, which reacts with ozone in a chemiluminescence’s reaction. The photons send out in this process are in proportional ratio to the absolute quantity of NO, so that an exact quantification is possible. Data collected by an analysing software, is registered.

The ozone is produced by an ozone generator from environmental air. After the reaction surplus, ozone is neutralized by an ozone destroyer. A converter, which reduces NO2 to NO, prevents NOx from detection.
